The Troubles of a Sichuan-Chongqing Mother-in-Law and a Northeastern Daughter-in-Law
Qin Shulan, a mother-in-law from Sichuan-Chongqing, is actually the true founder of the Gu Group. However, her son's newly hired secretary, a scheming green-tea girl from the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, mistakes her for an ordinary auntie, slaps her in front of everyone, and even pressures her Northeastern daughter-in-law to leave the marriage with nothing. That slap turns the constantly bickering mother-in-law and daughter-in-law into allies. Together, they reveal their true identities, seize control of the board of directors, catch an adulterous couple in bed, and go undercover at an elite ladies' academy. Finally, they set a trap at a charity gala to expose the scheming secretary, who is taken away by the police on the spot. The daughter-in-law takes over the Gu Group, while the love-struck son fails to win his wife back and has to deliver takeout to repay his debts. In the end, the son finally comes to his senses and chooses to turn over a new leaf!
