Su Wantang, a village girl from Rice Fragrance Village, lives a quiet life tending her small rice paddy. Yet sword cultivators and people from the Demon Realm keep showing up at her doorstep. Gu Changfeng, the top-ranked demon slayer on the Lingyun Sect's Demon-Slaying List, smashes her wooden gate with a single sword strike, claiming to uphold heavenly justice. Meanwhile, a grand procession from the Demon Realm arrives to escort her back to the palace. It turns out that she is actually the Supreme Ruler of the Three Realms, who concealed her identity and locked away her original power to live as a farmer. As layer after layer of her seal is lifted, the immortal and demon realms surround Rice Fragrance Village. With nothing but a cooking spatula, rice straw, and a bowl of porridge, she holds back thousands of troops outside the village and sees straight through the hearts of those around her.
