Blood Ties Can't Bind Me, My Home Is Elsewhere
After their adopted daughter, Zhou Nian, was abandoned for many years, her biological parents, Su Guoqiang and Li Li, show up at her door with 100,000 yuan in cash to claim her as their daughter. In reality, their son has leukemia and needs her to donate bone marrow. Seeing through their true intentions, Zhou Nian firmly refuses. The couple then attempts to use a paternity test and the absence of legal adoption documents as grounds to sue for custody, hoping to use the law to force her to save her younger brother. Faced with financial temptations, moral blackmail, and the pressure of a lawsuit, Zhou Nian never forgets the kindness and care her adoptive parents have given her over more than a decade. Refusing to be held hostage by blood ties, she resolves to defend herself and the family she truly belongs to in court.
