Genius medical student Chu Yue dies of overwork during an emergency shift and time-travels to a reconstituted family in the 1970s. Her biological father is cowardly, her stepmother is scheming, and her stepsister steals her college entrance examination scores. The family forces Chu Yue to marry a disabled older man in place of her stepsister.
