For the Sake of All Living Beings, I Confront My Sect Head-On
Guan Tong possesses the supernatural ability to see through things and is taken in as a disciple by the Immortal Venerable of Penglai. However, he discovers a horrifying truth: the so-called Foundation Establishment Immortal Pills are actually insect eggs, and cultivators gain their power from sticky parasites living in their dantians, turning them into breeding grounds for insects. He also learns that Baihe Village, where he was raised, was brutally slaughtered by the sect, shattering his world completely. Pretending to obey, he secretly plots his rebellion. As he spends time with his fellow disciples, he develops complicated feelings for those who have no control over their own fates. Determined to shatter the illusion of immortal cultivation, Guan Tong devises a plan to expose Penglai's true nature, settle his grievances with his own hands, and burn the immortal mountain to the ground. He vows to pass down the methods of identifying and fighting insects through generations, challenging this twisted system of cultivation.
