College student Xu Zhi accidentally enters a terrifying rule-based horror game, where she unexpectedly reunites with her real-life boyfriend, Yan Chen, who has been missing for days. He is a high-ranking overseer with the power to decide who lives and dies, but he has been corrupted by the system, and his emotions could be sealed away at any moment. Together with a group of players, Xu Zhi survives one deadly instance after another, including an apartment building, a red wedding dress, and a deep-sea cruise ship, unraveling countless sinister traps along the way. Amid lies and life-or-death dangers, the two remain true to their feelings, fight against the system's twisted fundamental rules, break free from their forced bond, and ultimately reclaim the right to choose their own destiny.
