Reborn, Li Cheng faces abuse and injustice from his family and resolutely kicks down the door, cuts ties with them, and leaves with his wife, taking nothing with him. In his previous life, he died from hunger and cold with a crippled leg. This time, using his knowledge of the future, he heads into the mountains and kills the ruthless bandit Hu Sanhei in a counterattack, earning official recognition. To survive, he hunts with a gun and engages in a battle of wits against the greedy mountain-hunting gang, cleverly setting traps to defeat them one by one. From acquiring a fortune and establishing a family business to opening up connections in the black market, Li Cheng gradually clears every obstacle in his way. He builds his fortune by stepping over his enemies, leading his wife to enjoy a prosperous life in this bitter winter, a life they never dared dream of in his previous existence.
