Hunting in the Mountains in the 1980s: Others Return Empty-Handed, I Fill My Warehouse
In his previous life, Lu Changchuan was addicted to gambling, squandered the family fortune, and plunged his wife and daughter into endless suffering, ultimately destroying his family and losing everything. Reborn in a northeastern mountain village in 1980, he vows never to repeat his mistakes. Armed with his grandmother's mysterious mountain-patrol journal, he shoulders his hunting rifle and ventures deep into the vast mountains with his hunting dog, Dahuang. While others return empty-handed, he comes back loaded with treasures every time. From rare mountain specialties to precious medicinal herbs, he always discovers the treasures others cannot find. Battling unscrupulous traders, overcoming obstacles, selling mountain goods, and making a fortune, he rises from a despised gambler to a renowned mountain-goods tycoon across the surrounding villages and towns.
