Ao Qingli, a member of the Azure Dragon clan, defies her arranged marriage to Mo Jiu, a black flood dragon. She flees her wedding and falls into the sea, where she is rescued by Lin Dachuan, a down-on-his-luck fisherman. The two team up to fish and gather seafood, using her dragon powers and their coastal foraging skills to venture into distant waters and fight sea tyrants. Together, they resist Mo Jiu's pursuit, overcome countless storms and hardships, shatter the shackles of the dragon clan, and protect their bay. In the end, they freely choose each other and begin a new life at sea together.
