80 Cute Babies: Picking Up a Daughter Who Is a Little Beachcombing Koi
In 1985, a storm sent four-year-old Youyou and the tabby cat Tongqian to Baishawan. Poor fisherman He Chaoyuan rescued her from a broken wooden basin. Who would have thought that this little girl, who called him "Dad" the moment they met, could actually understand the language of birds, beasts, and marine life? Following the clues Youyou heard, the He family found schools of fish, avoided fierce waves, and time and again saw through the calculations of seafood vendors. From a broken net and an old sampan, to owning the "Xiaoyou" and starting "Youyou Seafood", the family lived a hard life that became more and more prosperous. And the child who drifted from the sea finally had a dad and mom who cherished her, a brother who protected her, and a home truly her own.
