Old hunter Xu Guojun returns to 1981, determined to use his hands to support a stable and good life for his wife and children. He traverses the vast forest seas and snowfields, relying on exquisite hunting skills to catch mountain birds and wild game, and depending on mountain goods to open up a livelihood. He guards his pregnant wife and young daughter, joins hands with brothers and neighbors to work steadily, subdues the obstacles of life with responsibility and enthusiasm, irrigates the days with diligence and wisdom, and carves out a steaming, prosperous path of the era.
