In a rural village in the 1990s, the Lu family struggles to make ends meet. Li Zhao, a young educated woman sent to the countryside, rescues an orphan girl named Douya who nearly loses her life and brings her home. Douya is a little lucky star born with extraordinary good fortune. After she arrives, good things keep happening to the Lu family: they discover rare mountain treasures, find golden eggs, unearth antique treasures, and their injured family members gradually recover. Thanks to an unexpected opportunity in medicine, Li Zhao also secures a position at a military hospital, overcomes prejudice, and demonstrates her remarkable medical skills.
