A Basket of Potatoes Revives a Quiet Livestream
Lin Che, a young man who has returned to his hometown, copies an urban livestreaming strategy to sell local mountain produce that has been struggling to find buyers. As soon as he goes live, he faces an empty livestream room and a huge stockpile of unsold potatoes. His pricing, packaging, explanations, and other decisions repeatedly go wrong, and his eagerness for quick results keeps leading him into dead ends. The veteran farmer Zhao Shougen helps him understand that the heart of selling local produce lies in the land, traditional skills, and the warmth of rural community life. Lin Che abandons his preconceived ideas, listens to the villagers' experience, and works with everyone to create an immersive experience featuring field harvesting and handmade processing.
