Chen Wangshu, a retired chairman of a major business group in his sixties, decides to leave behind the burdens of business and live under an assumed identity. He settles into a community university for seniors and enrolls in a dance class, beginning a peaceful and leisurely new chapter of his life. There, he meets Su Wanqing, a dance instructor with a stubborn yet independent and clear-minded personality. Both now past their fifties, they have weathered many storms throughout their lives. As they spend day after day practicing dance together, affection gradually blossoms between them, but one obstacle after another soon stands in their way. Chen Wangshu's ex-wife's family covets the group's enormous fortune and devises a series of elaborate schemes, deliberately targeting Su Wanqing. While driving a wedge between the two, they are also plotting to seize control of the company.
