Good Karma Gets a Hundred Grains
In a year of disaster and famine, a young girl named A Tang climbs the mountain to gather wild vegetables and saves the Black Wolf King, the mountain guardian, who is trapped on a cliff and seriously injured. In gratitude, he gifts her a Hundred-Grain Stone Mill capable of producing food. A Tang follows his warning faithfully, using the mill only to help villagers on the brink of starvation and never exploiting it for personal gain. But the treasure attracts the greedy wealthy landlord Liu, who plots to steal the mill and turns the villagers against A Tang. The mill refuses to obey an evil person and transforms into sandworms in the Liu household, shaking out their enormous hidden grain reserves and illegally seized land deeds, exposing all their misdeeds. After the turmoil, the mill remains in the village, helping only those in desperate need. Rain falls, crops grow, and the hundred grains flourish. The Black Wolf King returns to guard the northern mountain, and A Tang's kindness ultimately brings peace and a secure livelihood to the village.

Num ano de calamidades e fome, uma jovem chamada A Tang sobe à montanha para apanhar legumes silvestres e salva o Rei Lobo Negro, guardião da montanha, que está preso numa falésia e gravemente ferido. Em agradecimento, ele oferece-lhe o Moinho de Pedra dos Cem Cereais, capaz de produzir alimentos. A Tang segue fielmente as suas advertências, utilizando o moinho apenas para ajudar os aldeões que estão à beira da morte por fome, sem nunca o explorar para obter lucro pessoal. Porém, o tesouro atrai o ganancioso proprietário Liu, que planeia roubar o moinho e instiga os aldeões a desconfiarem de A Tang. Mas o moinho não obedece aos malfeitores. Na residência da família Liu, transforma-se em vermes da areia e faz sair as enormes reservas de cereais que tinham escondido e as escrituras das terras que tinham usurpado à força, expondo por completo as suas maldades. Depois desta turbulência, o moinho permanece na aldeia, ajudando apenas quem passa por dificuldades. A chuva cai, as plantações crescem e os cem cereais dão uma colheita abundante. O Rei Lobo Negro regressa para proteger a Montanha do Norte, e a bondade acaba por trazer paz e um sustento estável à aldeia.
