Wang Fugui, the owner of a noodle shop in a mining district, started his business years ago thanks to the patronage of a coal excavation crew. Once business boomed, he began to despise the miners for eating too much and wearing dirty clothes. Under the pretext of 'free noodle refills', he publicly humiliated them and pulled out an astronomical bill. Crew leader Lin Tiejun angrily took his men and left, turning instead to the nearly bankrupt Zhou Ji Noodle Shop. Zhou Ji's business flourished day by day, igniting Wang Fugui's jealousy. Driven to sabotage, he initiated malicious price cuts, spread rumors, and even used spoiled ingredients to cut costs, ultimately leading to his shop being shut down and utter bankruptcy. Sincerity always wins hearts in the end, and Zhou Ji Noodle Shop truly found warmth and bustling success.
