A Bowl of Noodles, Tearing Open Ten Years of Old Covenants
Ten years ago, low-key tycoon Xu Jianguo funded the renovation of the old street and supported the merchants, but today he is publicly splashed with soup by Zhang Xiaorong, the noodle restaurant owner's daughter, who demands two hundred thousand yuan in "compensation". She also incites the merchants to tear up the agreement, attempting to force Xu Jianguo to back down by streaming to sell a miserable story and exerting public pressure. Fenced with misunderstandings and betrayal, Xu Jianguo remains consistently calm and restrained, turning instead to produce contracts, payment records, and complete surveillance footage, step by step uncovering the truth in a legitimate and compliant manner. As evidence is exposed, public opinion completely reverses, and the merchants' internal ranks begin to split. In the end, the untrustworthy bear their due responsibility, and the old street welcomes new development.
