A Building Full of Lights Cannot Illuminate the Human Heart (51 episodes)

The installation of an elevator in an old residential community brings Zhao Xiulan on the sixth floor hope for a better life. Wanting to save more for her son, she quarrels with her neighbors over a few square meters outside her front door, which gradually strains her family bonds as well. After her hopes are dashed and her loved ones leave, she finally understands that warmth at home never depends on grabbing an extra inch of space. Under the glowing lights of the building, a story of neighborliness and family affection slowly unfolds: only by staying fair-minded, learning to be considerate, and having the courage to admit one's mistakes can one pave a broader path for oneself and one's family.
