Journey to the West Descends: The Song of Cutting Off the Great Calamity
Born into the modern world of Blue Star while still in the womb, then transported once again into Journey to the West, Li Xuancang finds himself trapped in the game world with no way to log out. With a single resolve—"To seek a glimmer of hope for survival"—he becomes the fifth direct disciple of the Heavenly Lord of the Primordial Beginning's rival, the Lord Tongtian, and takes control of the Heavenly Court with the Green Duckweed Sword in hand. He exploits the players for profit, poaches allies from Buddhism, beats Li Jing into a swollen mess, and traps Guanyin in the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation. Just when he believes everything is under his control, he discovers that the Tathagata Buddha is actually the undercover master senior brother, the Ancient Buddha Dipamkara is watching from the shadows, and Blue Star and the primordial wilderness are slowly merging.
