Crisis strikes the long-standing "Xu Family Feast" catering team in Liuxi Village. Just three days before a 90-table birthday banquet, the core chefs stage a walkout, demanding an exorbitant bonus. Head chef Xu Dechang sternly fires them, leaving only a young apprentice by his side in the empty kitchen. Former disciples who once received his kindness rush back upon hearing the news, stabilizing the kitchen with genuine culinary skill. Meanwhile, rival defectors aggressively undercut prices and cut corners on ingredients. A showdown of kitchen principles and human conscience unfolds amidst the village cooking smoke.
