An unfinished fishtail painting has locked away Lan Qianning's ten years of longing. Forced to go abroad, Xie Huaiyu swallowed sleeping pills and an unspeakable love all alone. After their reunion he backs away step by step, while she presses closer step by step. On her birthday night she burns the old drafts in the studio and paints in each other's faces anew: "Xie Huaiyu, my heart is looking at you too." When the whole world says they shouldn't love each other, they choose to spend the rest of their lives finishing the painting that came ten years too late.
