A Labor Itemization Sheet, Seeing Through a Marriage
Seven months pregnant with twins, Su Wanqing resigned to prepare for childbirth. Unable to afford prenatal check-up expenses, her husband Shen Yanzhou instead produced a household labor pricing list, explicitly pricing her housework, refusing to contribute a single cent, and even harshly deducting her pay. He generously gave employee Bai Ruoxi a huge bonus, yet calculated every little thing against his pregnant wife, chilling Su Wanqing's heart. Surviving the difficult pregnancy, Su Wanqing decisively walked away to raise her child and start a business on her own. Four years later, she returned strongly. Facing Shen Yanzhou who only sought to make amends, she pulled out the old ledger, enumerating the years he was absent; love and hatred cleared to zero, and life became self-directed.
