Prende in prestito l'antica spada "Huizhi", ma scopre che, dopo aver superato la barriera grazie alla spada presa in prestito, deve comunque ricevere personalmente un colpo e riportarla al suo posto originale prima di poter lasciare il regno. Viaggia insieme a Lu Wensheng, che ha gli occhi feriti e individua i sentieri ascoltando le spade, alla ricerca del terzo perno interno. Yan Wufeng, impaziente di arraffare l'eredità, apre con la forza la prova congiunta, facendo perdere il controllo alla formazione di spade. Xie Qinghe smette di copiare le mosse altrui, supera finalmente la prova di restituzione della spada e riporta indietro la medicina spirituale.
