A Messy Ledger, Calculating Years of Brotherhood
Senior auto repair master Chen Minglei, in order to help his childhood friend Lao Wang, quit his stable job in a fleet, brought out all his skills, and made the quiet auto repair shop thriving. Five years later, Lao Wang and his wife teamed up with their apprentice Xiao Zhao to rake up old accounts, dock dividends, and drive him out of the shop door. Carrying twenty thousand yuan and an old canvas bag, Lao Chen rented a broken shop across the street, starting Lao Chen Auto Repair from scratch. Facing mockery, customer snatching, and malicious reports, he relied on superb technology and years of reputation to regain his footing. To compete for customers, Lao Wang and his wife actually used fake engine oil and inferior brake pads, ultimately causing a serious accident where a heavily loaded truck went out of control. As the truth was uncovered, the three received legal punishment.
