My Wife Turns Out to Be the Empress of the Current Dynasty
Li Yun transmigrates to the Great Qian dynasty and gets caught up in a rebel army the moment he arrives. In the 976th year of Great Qian, the court quells a massive rebellion that has lasted a thousand years. The old emperor dies, and a new emperor ascends the throne, taking control of the fate of the realm. Avoiding the turmoil, Li Yun takes advantage of the saying that the darkest place is under the lamp and hides in the capital, where he marries a beautiful wife. Her family is ordinary, yet she knows everything about rare treasures. Five years later, news shocks the world: the new emperor is actually a woman, hailed as the most beautiful woman under heaven, and she happens to be pregnant at the same time as his wife. Li Yun complains that whoever marries this empress is doomed to bad luck. Carrying flowers home, he hears a voice from inside before he can even enter: 'Your Majesty, it is time to attend court.'
