At Midnight, My Pawnshop Came to Life
Lin Chuan, an ordinary young man who takes over his grandfather's mysterious pawnshop, discovers that every night at midnight, the objects inside the shop come alive. Lin Chuan is actually the true Child of Yin and Yang, the only person capable of bearing the immense power of the gods. He absorbs supernatural powers, ventures into Great Sage Mountain, and, with his younger sister Lin Xiaoxiao protecting him, ultimately foils a possession conspiracy involving the Indestructible Golden Battle Body. He transforms eight extraordinary objects into an Eight Trigrams Formation and brings the demonic mist to an end with the might of a golden monkey wielding a thousand-jin staff. This is a story about an ordinary man becoming a god, but above all, it is a story of family: an older brother protecting his younger sister, and a younger sister protecting her older brother. In a world overrun by the supernatural, only the determination to never lose someone precious again can push people beyond their limits.
