A Pot of Pork Intestines Allowed Me to Defy Fate and Change My Life
Because her father broke his leg at the construction site and the contractor withheld his wages, 19-year-old top student Su Wanqing tore up her transcript on the spot and dropped out of school. Starting with discarded pork intestines from a meat processing plant, she tackled the cleaning challenge using plant ash and turned her life around with a pot of secret-recipe braised delicacies. Smartly battling bullies, registering trademarks, and building her own supply chain, she opened a restaurant in six months, monopolized the whole county in a year, and expanded into the provincial capital in two years. Rising from a mocked "scavenger girl" to a catering queen, she achieved the ultimate revenge against fate and prejudice with her own strength.
