Spring Deepens at the Sickbed
In her previous life, Yu Mingzhu gave ten years of sincere love to the wrong man, only to end up utterly humiliated and broken. After being reborn, the first thing she does is kick aside her cold-hearted, faithless fiancé, Pei Huaixu. Instead, she turns her care toward Pei Sichen, the illegitimate son of the Pei family, a frail young man plagued by illness and abandoned by his own fiancée. At first, she only wishes to save him out of a shared sense of suffering. But she never imagined that this sickly young man, who had been barely surviving like a shadow in the depths of the family estate, had long been harboring a dark, obsessive love deep within his heart. The moment she takes the initiative to approach him, she becomes the only light in his gloomy life. From then on, he gently binds her closer, drawing her ever deeper into his embrace, never again willing to let her go.
