The Strange Girl in the Will
In Liuxi Old Street, the elderly woman Zhou Xiulan makes a will, leaving her old courtyard worth one million yuan to nineteen-year-old Lin Xiaoyu, a girl she has known for only two months. This sudden will provokes strong resistance from Zhou's three children, and family conflicts instantly erupt. Under everyone's questioning, a flood story buried for twenty years floats to the surface. Lin Xiaoyu's father, Lin Qingshan, was a civilian rescuer in the mega flood of 2006, successively rescuing Zhou Qiming and the child Shen Kang, yet unfortunately losing his life. At that time, the news report only vaguely recorded "Mr. Lin," and his true identity was submerged in old archives.
