Truck driver Lin Guodong financially supported poor college student Chen Zhengfeng for eight years, spending money and effort to help him study hard and get his family through countless hardships. But after Chen Zhengfeng was admitted to university, he successively reported Lin's shed and truck for violations in his own name, causing the Lin family to be repeatedly fined and their livelihood obstructed. When a crisis suddenly struck, Chen Zhengfeng's family encountered disasters one after another; his relatives fell seriously ill, his own future was completely ruined, and driven to desperation, the whole family came to their door for help. On one side was the old affection of eight years of pouring out hearts and minds in support, and on the other was a heartless past—a difficult choice between gratitude and human nature thus unfolds.
