A Surname Is Not a Family Gate Lock: Sincerity Is the True Heir
When the critically ill old man hears that his eldest grandson will take the mother's surname Yu, he alters his will on the spot: all family property will go to his companion, and the Shen family will have no grandson. Thinking their family fortune is securely in hand, the biological son and daughter-in-law live wastefully and cause trouble everywhere, unaware that the old lady has long been secretly plotting. Shen Ze, the son of the old man's former wife, kneels outside the hospital ward, willing to let his child take her surname Jiang, and his lover turns out to be the Zhang family heiress most favored by the old lady back then. One biological son is utter mud that cannot support a wall, while an outsider endures humiliation from the bottom to stage a counter-attack. On the day the old man wakes up, the will is made public, and the Shen family is turned upside down. A surname is never a shackle; human hearts are the true foundation of a family enterprise.
