Vanity Will Eventually Reveal Its True Form
Lin Mu, president of Shengyu Group, grateful for his veteran driver's ten years of diligence, exceptionally hired the driver's son, Zhen Chusheng, to take over as his dedicated chauffeur. Little did he know that Zhen Chusheng's vanity would get the better of him; he impersonated the president, privately driving luxury cars and unlawfully occupying a private villa to deceive his girlfriend, Chu Manqi. Chu Manqi mistook Lin Mu for a ride-hailing employee who bummed rides, repeatedly humiliating him in public, and even brought friends to break into the villa to party, destroying property and shattering an heirloom jade pendant of the Lin family. After the truth was exposed, Lin Mu insisted on pursuing legal accountability, forcing the group of vain wrongdoers to ultimately pay a double price in both legal and economic terms for their actions.
