A Van of Cakes Blocks the Whole City
Top earner He Yuan single-handedly carried 60 percent of the company's performance, yet at the annual gala, the new boss publicly slashed his year-end bonus from 800,000 to 19,000. In a fit of anger, he resigned on the spot. The next day, he drove a broken van and blocked the city center, but it was because the car carried 30 birthday cakes destined for the orphanage. This scene went viral across the net, and also deeply shocked the company's major client, President Zhao, simply because President Zhao was precisely an orphan from the orphanage who had eaten his cakes back then. To force He Yuan into submission, the new boss's backer Zhou Guodong not only instigated an industry-wide blockade, but even forcibly demolished the orphanage. Facing tyranny, He Yuan led a group of ordinary people to launch a desperate counterattack.
