A Windfall, Two-Faced Hearts
An elderly couple in the countryside smashed their pots and sold their iron, exhausting everything to provide for their son to study and buy a house in the city, but after the son started a family, he refused to come home to visit for a full three years. The elderly couple unexpectedly won a five million grand prize, and feeling cold in their hearts, they pretended to be seriously ill to test their son. Unexpectedly, upon learning the news, the son not only showed no trace of concern, but also joined forces with his wife Li Lili to force the two elders to hand over their money. Amidst the dispute, they heartlessly drove their elderly parents out of the house, and on a stormy night, the old couple could only wander the streets. Past hard cultivation in exchange for ruthless abandonment, a fake illness test tore open the true face of the son's greed and unfilial piety.
