Abandoned After Three Years in a Coma, a Koi Transforms into a Dragon to Repay His Kindness
During a year of devastating famine at sea, fisherman Ke Haisheng was gravely injured while saving his elder brother and remained in a coma for three years. His adoptive parents and their family seized his belongings and, just before a tsunami struck, drove his wife and daughter out of their home. As his wife, Ye Suzhen, fled with their daughter, a gigantic wave threatened to swallow them. At that moment, the golden-red divine dragon Ke Haisheng had saved years earlier appeared to repay his life-saving kindness. Using its divine power, it awakened Ke Haisheng and granted him the ability to command the tides. Ke Haisheng repelled the tsunami, made a living by fishing, reclaimed his property, helped his neighbors, and punished the wicked. He ultimately rose from a destitute fisherman to become a renowned coastal treasure hunter.
