Twenty-five years ago, Fu Yanshan was separated from his son and daughter. Over the years, while running his business, he never stopped searching for them. At last, he found his daughter, Lin Wan, in the old district, where she runs a small restaurant. Not wanting to disrupt her life, he stays at her restaurant as an ordinary elder, helping out and gradually getting closer to her through the companionship of three meals a day. Alla fine, ha ritrovato sua figlia Lin Wan nel vecchio quartiere, dove gestisce un piccolo ristorante.
