Elder Sister Takes My Place in the Main Seat
In her previous life, Shen Mingzhu was pushed into a pond by the pregnant mistress whom her husband, Gu Cheng'an, had brought home. Reborn on the very day the mistress came knocking to challenge her position, she secretly invited her elder sister, the Empress, to return home wearing her clothes and take the seat of honor in her place. The mistress smugly raised a jade safety pendant and demanded that Shen Mingzhu surrender her position, only to look up and come face-to-face with two identical women. Fake medical records, poison prescriptions, a coffin ordered in advance, and embezzled government silver are exposed one after another before everyone. Gu Cheng'an goes from his lofty position to kneeling and begging for mercy, ultimately stripped of his noble title and beheaded. Shen Mingzhu reclaims her dowry, protects her child, divorces him, and leaves the household, then expands her own trade routes across twelve prefectures. Marrying the wrong person is not a lifelong mistake. Knowing it is wrong yet refusing to turn back is what traps you for a lifetime.

Önceki hayatında Shen Mingzhu, kocası Gu Cheng'an'ın eve getirdiği hamile metresi tarafından gölete itilmişti. Ardından kendi ticaret yollarını on iki eyaletin tamamına yaydı. Yanlış kişiyle evlenmek ömür boyu sürecek bir hata değildir. Yanlış yaptığını bildiği hâlde geri dönmeyi reddetmek, insanı ömür boyu esir eden şeydir.
