After the three Su sisters are involved in a car accident, they unexpectedly transmigrate into the bodies of three doomed cannon-fodder wives who are about to die. The eldest sister, Su Jinnian, is a genius in chemical research; the second sister, Su Jinyue, is an athletic prodigy; and the youngest, Su Jintang, is an expert in planning and strategy. The three immediately decide to join forces and escape. However, their three husbands from the Gu family each have their own special abilities. The eldest young master, Gu Zhao, is exceptionally skilled in both medicine and poison; the second young master, Gu Yunshen, is an expert at deciphering mechanisms and traps; and the third young master, Gu Yanxi, has informants spread throughout the entire city. With the three sisters repeatedly attempting to escape and getting caught each time, a battle of cat and mouse begins between the three sisters and the three Gu brothers.
