After a Stormy Night, We Find It Hard to Mend Broken Mirrors
The husband repeatedly neglects his wife and daughter for the sake of a friend's mother and daughter. On the day of his wife's birthday, he leaves their five-year-old daughter alone at home to rush off and accompany someone else's daughter to receive an award. On a stormy night, thinking her father has gone to pick up a birthday cake, the daughter goes out alone with an umbrella to look for him and nearly falls into a drainage ditch in danger. After the daughter is rescued, Lin Zhixia suddenly wakes up, realizing that what destroys the marriage is not this accident, but the long-standing fact that she and her daughter are always ranked at the bottom. She takes off her wedding ring and leaves with her daughter; the belated paternal love can only be made up for by him slowly on his own.
