After Being Kicked Out, I Became a God Through Braised Delicacies
Lin Ping runs his grandfather's century-old braised food shop, only to be kicked out for a mere 20,000 yuan by his cousin, who is obsessed with making quick money from pre-prepared meals. His cousin steals the written recipe, hoping to get rich through industrial production lines. Lin Ping sets up a battered iron pot in an abandoned auto repair shed and uses his mastery of traditional cooking techniques to create an extraordinary aged braising stock. Soon, wealthy people from across the city line up for his food, and a master chef from the state banquet personally certifies it as intangible cultural heritage. His cousin's poisonous braised food causes a disastrous livestream scandal, and his malicious attempts to expose Lin Ping's food backfire. In the end, Lin Ping reclaims the century-old purple copper pot and restores the glory of traditional craftsmanship.
