After Renting Together for a Year, I Finally Understood My Roommates' True Nature
Sharing an apartment for a year, Lin Wan only collected ingredient cost shares from her roommates and cooked for everyone every day. New roommate Zhou Ke moved in, falsely claiming her chef boyfriend could cook for free long-term. The roommates turned against Lin Wan, forcing her to return the so-called price difference. Lin Wan refunded the money, moved out, and opened a lunchbox stall. The so-called free meals were fraught with hidden dangers, and various chores were constantly pushed onto everyone. After eating problematic ingredients, someone felt physically unwell. Zhou Ke's use of Lin Wan's name to solicit business was exposed. The old roommates regretted trying to make amends, but Lin Wan refused to fix personal ties, focusing on her career and gaining a relaxed life of her own.
