Brisk heroine Sheng Ye mistakenly takes an ovulation test strip for a pregnancy test strip, holding two red lines to discuss getting rid of the child with her aloof ex-boyfriend Fu Siheng, but is seized by him as an opportunity to win her back. During their time together, Sheng Ye faces the nagging of a rigid mother-in-law and the deliberate provocation of the hero's blind-date partner, remaining calm and tough when facing issues, never wronged or compromising. Fu Siheng is full of partiality and affection, publicly supporting his girlfriend and breaking family prejudices. A hilarious misunderstanding brings about a two-way destined romance, where the manipulative ex-boyfriend indulgently dotes on his proud and delicate wife, and the two join hands to build a small family, sweet and fulfilled.
