Lu Haoming hired gold-medal caregiver Lin Cuilian for his stroke-stricken mother. Little did he expect that she would take advantage of his mother's aphasia to gradually take over her medication and communication, posing as the person who 'understood the elderly woman best.' Her daughter Zhao Mengjie staged a rescue outside the hospital, posing as a savior to garner attention online, and even impersonated his fiancée to barge into his company, occupy his home, fake a pregnancy, and steal company files. Enduring the insults, Lu Haoming methodically gathered evidence to uncover the truth and protect his mother and their home.
