After the Divorce: Grandpa and Grandma Help Me Rise to the Clouds
Sanitation workers Gu Hongshan and his wife, Liang Shuzhen, arrive at their granddaughter Gu Ying's engagement banquet on a tricycle, bringing a broom and their life savings as her dowry, only to be humiliated by the Zhou family, their future in-laws. Gu Ying publicly accepts this "most precious dowry" and sees her fiancé Zhou Zi'ang for who he really is. Seven days earlier, he had tricked her into registering their marriage and pressured her to sign a patent authorization and a marital debt agreement. Gu Ying tears up the agreement and decisively divorces him. Zhou Zi'ang then turns to pursue Luo Jiaqi, who claims to be a descendant of the Gu family. What he does not know is that the two elderly people everyone looks down on are actually the founders of the Gu Group, who have lived under assumed identities for twenty years, and Gu Ying is the sole beneficiary of the Gu Group's inheritance trust.
