After the Engagement Was Broken Off, I Fed the Cold-Faced Professor Until He Fell for Me
Song Qingzhi boards a coal truck overnight and heads straight for the capital. Her fiancé looks down on her as a country girl and wants to break off their engagement. She agrees on one condition: he must help her find a job. Through an introduction, she lands a position in the Zhou family's kitchen. With a bowl of hot and sour wontons, she restores the appetite of the Zhou family's pregnant daughter, who has been suffering from morning sickness. She then earns 2,000 yuan with five medicinal recipes and opens a restaurant with her older sister. Professor Zhou, who never eats late-night snacks, makes an exception for her cooking.
