Wen Zhenyi, a modern top chef and bounty hunter, unexpectedly transmigrates into an 18-year-old foolish peasant girl. Waking up, she sheds her former madness and relies on her superb culinary skills to resolve her family's debt crisis. Selling pork offal and specialty snacks at street stalls, she gradually leads the poor Wen family toward prosperity. She tames local thugs, exposes the scams of wandering Daoist priests, punishes spiteful village women, and rescues Zhu, an ill-treated, unfortunate girl. Meanwhile, Wen Zhenyi cures the anorexia of Shen Hanxing, a frail and sickly scholar, through delicious food, and love blossoms between them. Taking on banquet orders from wealthy families and expanding her business, she perseveres to open shops, acquire property, protect her pure-hearted family, and live a wonderful life amidst the warmth of everyday village life.
