The Heaven-Defying Fate-Changing Agency
Su Li, heir to Yiming Xuan, is searching for her missing grandmother when she is forced to team up with Lu Xingchen, a theatrical Taoist priest who claims to be acting on her grandmother's orders but is actually a disgraced disciple cast out by Tianfu. Their first mission is to resolve a wealthy young master's alleged haunting. With Lu Xingchen's help, Su Li discovers that the clues left by her grandmother point to five Origin Stones containing the power of humanity's deepest emotions: joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, and love. As the two move from mutual suspicion to trust, Su Li increasingly senses that collecting the stones is part of a grand trial carefully arranged by her grandmother. When all five stones are gathered, the forbidden grounds of Yiming Xuan, where the final Origin Stone of Love lies, are unlocked.
