Powerful Security Guard, Starting with Refusing Marriage
Retired Beichen leader Chen Shanhe adopts an incognito life, only seeking peaceful days, but is used as a pawn by his adoptive son Chen Zhiyuan and daughter-in-law Ma Yanli to force him into marrying a stranger in exchange for a fifty-thousand betrothal gift and a partnership with the Shen Group. On the wedding day, Shen Wanqing, his first love of twenty years whom he hasn't seen, appears with her daughter, deliberately concealing her identity as the chairwoman of the Shen Group and pretending to be impoverished to test Chen Shanhe's true heart. Facing successive humiliations from his adoptive family and snobbish relatives, Chen Shanhe's heart grows completely cold and he publicly announces a severing of ties. Everyone only takes him for an ordinary security guard, with no one knowing his past days of dominating the winds and clouds. As their true identities are peeled back layer by layer, the grand curtain of counterattack belonging to the strong slowly opens.
