Two-Yuan Water, Cutting Off the Five-Hundred-Million Project
Civil engineering technical talent Chen Ping stayed up for three nights straight for the Lin family's company to complete the bid document, helping them secure a 500-million resettlement housing project. However, simply because he wanted to drink a bottle of two-yuan mineral water, he was despised by his father-in-law and even asked for a divorce by his wife. Forced to resign, Chen Ping refused to take the blame for the Lin family's mistakes. He gained the appreciation of the Shen Group and was appointed as the technical vice president. After driving away the core technical personnel, the Lin family carried out non-compliant construction and fell deep into a debt crisis. Adhering to the bottom line of engineering quality, Chen Ping used his solid professional capabilities to participate in the project bidding again, led the team to complete the construction of the resettlement housing, and defended his own dignity and professional ethics with strength.
