Meeting Spring, the Withered Tree Revives: The Powerful Minister's Treasured Pearl - Season 2
Song Yu, the daughter of a wealthy merchant family, wants nothing more than an obedient husband she can easily handle. At a matchmaking meeting, she mistakes Shen Yan, the heir rumored to be sinister and crippled, for her date. Seeing that he is stunningly handsome, too lame to run far, and unlikely to interfere with her spending, she boldly decides on the spot to take in this "poor little thing." But after the wedding, Song Yu slowly realizes that the man she has been pampering is no sickly heir at all, but Shen Yan, a man of deep schemes. He plots every step to win the realm, yet willingly sheathes all his ferocity for her, luring her into his arms and telling her she need not trouble herself with anything: everything will be as she wishes.
